SMS Terms of Service
By providing your mobile phone number to Emerald City Cleaning ("ECC") and opting in to one of our SMS programs, you agree to the following terms. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, service, employment, or job application.
ECC operates three separate SMS programs. The terms for each are described below.
Customer Notifications
Program Description
Emerald City Cleaning uses SMS to send appointment reminders, scheduling updates, job-completion notifications, and customer-service replies to clients who have provided their phone number for service-related communication.
Opt-In
You opt in by:
- Providing your phone number on a booking, quote, or contact form on our website (emeraldcitycleaning.com), where the SMS opt-in disclosure appears next to the phone-number field.
- Giving verbal consent during a sales call, in-person quote, or service appointment. Verbal consent is documented in our customer-relationship-management system at the time of consent — including date, time, the ECC representative who collected consent, and the phone number provided — and retained as proof of opt-in.
- Directly requesting text-message communication from ECC.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your service schedule. Typical: 1–5 messages per service appointment, plus replies to your inbound messages.
Costs
Message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages from this program.

Workforce Alerts
START to the workforce-alerts enrollment message, you consent to receive automated text messages from Emerald City Cleaning, LLC at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of employment.
Program Description
ECC uses SMS to send automated workforce notifications to field employees. Messages include shift-schedule confirmations, meal-break reminders required by Washington state labor law (WAC 296-126-092), drive-time logging reminders, and operational updates.
Opt-In
You opt in by replying START to the enrollment message sent during onboarding. Your consent is not a condition of employment.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your work schedule, typically 1–3 messages per shift.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to re-enroll.

Recruiting Alerts
Program Description
ECC uses SMS to send pre-screening questions, application-status updates, interview scheduling, and onboarding instructions to job applicants.
Opt-In
You opt in by submitting a job application through our careers page (emerald-city-cleaning.breezy.hr), which includes SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of employment, hiring, or further consideration of your application.
Message Frequency
5–10 messages during the application screening process.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. ECC does not charge for messages sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe.

General Terms — Apply To All Three Programs
Carriers
Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. ECC is not liable for delays or failures in the receipt or delivery of any messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless network operator.
Privacy
Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS opt-in status) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our full Privacy Policy.
Changes
ECC may update these SMS Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance.
