Meet Guacolda Zinsmeyer.

Guacolda founded Emerald City Cleaning in Seattle in 2005 with a simple bet: that hiring W-2 employees, training them properly, and showing up on time would beat any competitor's price-list. Twenty years later, the bet's paid off.

She still runs the business day-to-day. Every estimate, every escalation, every late-night question from a worker — they all reach her. The company is Washington WMBE certified (Women & Minority Business Enterprise) — a real credential, audited annually by the state, that opens us up to public-sector and tier-one corporate work other firms can't bid on.
